Intergraph/MOLDFLOW Interface (I/MOLDFLOW) [Intergraph Corporation]

I/MOLDFLOW converts an FEM Neutral File created by I/FLOW (SM**059),I/FEM (SM**053), or MP ANALYSIS (SE**137) into an ASCII file for input tothe third-party software package MF/FLOW from Moldflow Pty. Ltd. ofAustralia. I/MOLDFLOW can be used to transfer finite element model data,nodes, elements, thickness and other attributes, modelled in I/FLOW (orthe other packages listed above) to the Moldflow modelling and analysisenvironment. This transfer can save users significant effort recreatingmodels that exist in I/EMS or I/FLOW by using I/FLOWUs powerful meshgeneration capabilities. I/MOLDFLOW uses results form the Moldflowsolvers as input to I/FLOW or I/FEM. These results can be evaluatedusing I/FLOW's postprocessing capabilities. Moldflow's solver does nothave to be on the same system as I/MOLDFLOW, but the system is designedto work best if the Moldflow software runs on a system in the same LAN asI/MOLDFLOW.
